I am an active duty, Army Major, currently at the University of South Florida to get my Ph.D. in Instructional Technology. My cognate is in measurement technology, and I plan on pursuing research in the computer adaptive testing field.

I have been in the military for over 11 years and I plan on retiring from the military some day and then using my Ph.D. to get a job within the instructional technology field.

I have served at the following locations:

  • Fort Knox (1994): Armor Officer Basic course and Scout Platoon Leader Course
  • Fort Irwin (1994 - 1997): Tank Platoon Leader, ACR Troop Executive Officer, Battalion Scout Platoon Leader
  • Fort Knox (1998): Armor Officer Advanced Course
  • Fort Leavenworth (1998): Combined Arms Service Staff School
  • Nellis Air Force Base (1998): Joint Firepower Control Course
  • Friedberg, Germany (1998 - 2001): Battalion S-3 Air, Tank Company Commander (tour in Macedonia as part of KFOR)
  • Los Alamitos (2001 - 2003): AC/RC Battalion A/S-3
  • Kuwait (2003-2004): Network Officer
  • Iraq (2004): Data Planner / Information Assurance Policy Chief
  • USF (2005 - present): Instructional Technology Ph.D. student
I received my Bachelor's degree in English from Florida State University and I got my Master's degree in Information Technology at American Intercontinental University in Los Angeles.

I am married with 3 kids.

I have designed 33 different web sites. At some point, I will put together a thumbnail gallery of the web sites.
